| I had a severe sinus infection for about 2 to 3 days. Cold and sinus medications helped somewhat, but the problem persisted to the point of losing balance due to my infected inner ears. My physician gave me a 10 day course of Avelox and told me it should do the trick. I am glad to say that my sinus infection was gone in about 36 hours, and had no side effects. This antibiotic worked better than anything I have ever taken, including the $150 prescription on Biaxin I was on 3 weeks earlier. If there are side effects like the ones I have read below, they obviously do not affect everyone who takes it. Augmentin gives me EXPLOSIVE diarrhea. This is a great drug. |
