| I saw my doctor last week for my physical and he gave me a perscription for actonel. After reading all the negative responses it really scares me to even think of taking this drug. I have a seizure disorder which was caused by my former doctor giving me a sample pill and the side effect was lose of conscienceness or grand mal seizures. I had a grand mal seizure at work and now my life has changed forever. I am on several pills for seizures,developed reflux action because I couldn't keep anything down. The seizures caused panic attacks and I ended up in therapy for post dramatic syndrome. I never took anything more than an aspirin in 2000. So after reading all your testamonials I am going to contact my doctor and let him know he should recommend something else for me.I already have a curve in my lower spine and I don't know if it was from birth or just happened over time and recently fell on my tailbone. Most of seem to experience some sort of back pain I don't need this added to my life. Please all of you take care of yourself. God Bless, Cathy | |||

| Hi Cathy, I started taking Actonel in april and have had two seizures. This is the only drug I take and all test are negative.Do you have any additional info thats relates to this or verifies it??? Thanks Pat | ||
