| I started taking 40 mg Benicar in June and by late August, I seemed tired all the time and just had no energy. This condition got worse each week and in September, I started having dizzy spells. By late September, I would tire out just walking across the room and went to the doctor with the problem. Blood tests showed nothing abnormal so nothing was done. I visited another doctor and more tests were taken and it was suggested that I probably have had some virus and time will take care of it. After visiting this web site and reading many comments, I reduced the dosage of Benicar to 20 mg per day. This was about 4 days ago and I am getting my energy back and the dizzy spells are fewer. I have tried several medications for high blood pr. and each has had some side effects but this is the worst. I plan on trying the same dosage for awhile and if it controls the blood pr. and the dizziness ends, I will probably stay with Benicar. If not, will have to try some thing else. |
