| I too was on Bextra for a stress fracture in my foot. I developed a terrible rash everywhere especially red on the neck and chest area. The rash was very itchy. My throat also felt sore and it felt like it was closing up. I called my podiatrist who told me to stop taking the med and had to take benedryl for several days. I also went to my family physician who attributed it to my blood pressue med I have been on for years. Went to an allergist who didn't know anything about bextra and told me I still had some histamines in my skin!! Put me on allegra for 2 weeks. Either these physicians are ignoring that this is a big problem or the drug manufacturers are puting the pressure on them to prescribe Bextra, |
