| I have been taking 20mg Benicar/day for two weeks now. Initially, I had a 'buzz' as if I drank three beers one after the other about two hours after taking my first pill. After a couple of hours, the 'buzz' wore off and I felt as if a tight hat was on my head. I had a slight headache for 24 hours and then the headache subsided. I do experience dizziness for a second or two when I get out of bed or if I turn around too quickly throughout the day. Some tiredness occurs in the afternoon - but it is manageable. My blood pressure readings before Benicar used to be 150/100 and now are 120/80 or 130/80. A BIG change! I feel more physically stable throughout the day since taking Benicar - no spikes in my energy level. |
