| I started taking 20 mg of Benicar four weeks ago. First I started out with nausea and diahhrea. My kids had the flu so I thought it was just the flu. I was so tired I could hardly work. Talked with my dr. and she said I had to get used to it. Continued for two more weeks and a dark mood started. I would wake up feeling like I wanted to kill someone and hated everyone and everything. I was so anxious and never had this kind of trouble before. I am 44 and blood pressure was running around 138/90. My blood pressures were sporadic on this. Sometimes 114/76 and the next 150/94, just like before I went on it. Then I started having pain near my liver. Just didn't feel right. Then I started losing control of my bowels, 3 times a day when I stood up. Dr. said it wasn't the medication. I took myself off 5 days aga and all symptons are gone and I am the nice mellow person I was before I started this medication. It was like a black cloud lifted and bowel problems are gone. I think these med. salesman do us a disservice by marketing this stuff to doctors, without all the side effects being know or discussed. |
