Bonnieavelox side affectMay 12th, 2008Rating: 6.6667
My Doctor prerscribed avelox for a possible bronical infection. I took the first pill shortly before I went to bed. By the time I did go to bed I had a bad backache and after three hours of sleep I awoke to horrible back and hip pain anc could hardly get out of bed to go into the bathroom. In the AM I needed a walker just to move and I could not find a position that would ease my pain. I called my Doctor and asked if the avelox could have anything to do with this sudden pain and she told me that she doubted it and so I continued to use it for three more days until I was in such umbearable pain that I could'nt even get up to get a pill. It is now the day after I stopped and though very sore and still barely able to walk, a lot of the pain has stopped and I can actually sleep and find a comfortable possition without continuous pain. I would not reccomend this product to anyone. It's not worth chancing what I went through the past few days. I only wish that I was capable of getting to the computer to find this website before I began taking it. It may very well have saved me a lot of severe pain and sleepless nights.

KarenAvelox 400 mg oralDecember 3rd, 2005
Hi I went to the doctors because I had the start of a sore throat and had difficulty breathing. It was Saturday and my daughter was due to have a C-section in a couple of days. I didn't want to get her or the baby sick. So I went to a Medicus Walk-in. The doctor prescribed Avelox 400mg. I like you took one pill was ok took two pills ok, but the third pill put me in bed with a lower backpain like I never had before. I was told to take up to 5. I had been given 10. I stopped on the 5th pill. I went to my doctor, but he feel it isn't from this, but I do. However he said don't take anymore and see how I feel in couple of days. Reading about you I feel a little better. If you can please email me and let me know how you are doing I would so much appreciate it so much.

Thanks!
