| my husband is at the hospital right now because in the past 3 days something is going on with him. He is beyond fatigued- he keeps passing out on us, he has been complaining about his vision blurring up on him, and his tongue was hurting. i called his psych and she said that it wasn't a side effect from abilify (which he has been on for a month for being bipolar.). reading all of this i'm having second thoughts to her answer. I looked on the abilify website and darned if all of those aren't symptoms. I thought he might have had a small stroke (he just turned 29 by the way). his speech is what really set me off to something being wrong. it started out as slurred speech but over the past 3 days that has morphed into unrecognizable speech. i can't understand ANYTHING that he is saying and he is getting frustrated that he can't talk right. I think that its the medicine, i won't know for sure yet but it has me wondering. |
