| I took Imitrex for years, seemed to lose effectiveness. My doctor gave me Axert and it worked great in the beginning then it too started to lose it's effect. My new insurance does not cover cost of Axert, approx. $22 USD per pill. Went back to Imitrex. When I metioned to my pharmacist that Axert seemed to have stopped working, she said she had heard that same comment from others. For me is seems best to alternate the drugs, so you don't get used to the formula. | |||
