| I only took Chantix for a month, but since then, all food has tasted differently. I told my doctor but he didn't believe me since that wasn't listed as one of the side effects, so he has prescribed prednisone to perk up my appetite. I'll bet down the road, researchers will find that this is just one of the many many bad side effects of Chantix. | |||

| I, too, have experienced the "death" of my tastebuds. I have been off Chantix for almost 2 weeks, but I still cannot enjoy food. I stopped taking the pills after 11 days, since they turned me into a crazed woman with violent dreams, violent daytime thoughts and the inability to concentrate. I also noticed that my 'thought processes' became muggy and I would make stupid statements or typos in my email during the business day. This drug scared me. It still does. | ||
