| My experience with Amitiza is that it worked the first day. However, taking it as prescribed caused very watery stools. With the approval of my doctor, I cut back to one capsule per day. That was also too much, so I reduced it on my own to one capsule every other day. I usually don't have a bowel movement following the off days, and the "on" days are watery and somewhat urgent, but it certainly beats chronic constipation. | |||
