| I've had no trouble tolerating Abilify after switching from Zyprexa. I started at 15 mg. and am now up to 30 mg. I'm being treated for bipolar I. Have lost 43 pounds of the weight I gained while on Zyprexa. My analogy is that Zyprexa was like sleeping under the weight of many heavy blankets, and Abilify is like sleeping under a cozy lightweight, but warm down comforter. I have more energy to do things, am able to think straight, and have had none of the side effects mentioned. For me the weight loss alone has made abilify an invaluable ally.
