| I have had trouble with swelling in my hands and feet since I began using Aromasin in June of this year. I have also felt like an old lady (I'm only 48) with stiffness and achiness in my joints. I don't sleep well at night anymore and have been dealing with depression. I wish there was another alternative other than Aromasin. I have already been on tamoxifen for 21/2 years and am considering risking not taking anything more for the remaining 2 years. | |||

| I understand what you are talking about. I have had b cancer 3 times 1998, 2000, & 2005. I have taking all of the drugs. My Doctor took me off Fermara because of bone pain and put me on Aromasin. After 3 weeks the swelling started it has been very bad. My throat, hand, arms, legs, eyes. I feel like crap. Also the depression etc. I quit taking it a week ago and I am feeling better. When I see my dr. I will tell him that I am tired of feeling like an old women. I will not be taking any more drugs. I will leave it up to God. I have always been active and now I do not want to get out of bed. If you know of anymore women out there that feel the same please let me know. I have also started haveing high blood pressure which does not run in my family. I have all the side effects. Cancer drs just treat cancer not the problems the drugs cause. | Hi Ladies, I'm feeling the same way. On top of feeling tired and feeling depressed and I'm experiencing severe joint pain in my wrist and thumbs and having to take anitinflammatories. I took tamoxifen for 3 1/2 years and switched to Aromasin and have been taking it for 1 year now. I am considering not taking it anymore. Please, I'd like to hear your comments. God Bless! | ||
