| I am a very treatment resistent Bipolar 1. I have some bad rapid cycling everyday. When manic I have hullucinations and delusions. I was diagnosed 17 years ago and have been prescribed everything you can imagine. I was on zyprexa, seroquel, and depakote for almost 4 years with frequent med dose changes.. It just was horrible with side effects. Three weeks ago, I was hospitalized for my bipolar and the doctors decided to try Abilify. My life has changed amazingly. I do not have any rapid cycling and my mania has leveled out like the person I was 17 years ago. Abilify is awesome. It still is early to tell if it will work long term, but at least I am leveled, happy and feeling just great! Thanks to God for Abilify! |
