| I'm sorry to hear about the withdrawl symptoms that some people are experiencing. I've been taking celexa 40mg for 4 yrs for social phobia. I've gone off it for weeks at a time with the only effect being increased dreaming/bizarre dreams and of course the anxiety comes back. On the other hand my mother took paxil for 1 yr, ran out of meds while visiting me and went through severe withdrawls after missing 2 doses. After a trip to the ER, she had to get back on it and slowly wean off. She is now on celexa and doing fine. I do wonder about long term effects of celexa. |
