| My first two weeks with abilify where awful with nausea and sea sickness, but it went away about the 12th or 13th day. I've lost 10 pounds since going on abilify. This is great since I gained 86 pounds on Zyprea. I still have problems sleeping. I take the abilify in the morning instead of night to help and take benedryl 25mg generic from the dollar store to sleep at night. I just found out they don't have my medicine at the clinic so I will have to go off it and back on it next month so I guess I will be sea sick again. I could pay for it but at $249.00 a month, I just don't have that kind of money. | |||

| Ask your doctor if he/she can provide samples for a month. That's what my Dr. did. | ||

| If you are on medicaid/medicare you can get abilify at any drugstore. This way you don't have to be without it. | ||

| I just filled a prescription of abilify for my husband - 30 pills -30 mg. at $699.40!! That's over $23.00 a swallow!!! I'd choke on it myself but thank God for us it is paid for by compensation. I am starting to see a few problems I am questioning like blood pressure going way up, tremors of the hands, and jerking movements. | ||

| Hi Nadine. just read what you had posted on this site (it's the first time i've been on it), but just thought i'd let you know that i have been told by my psychiatrist (they are all proffesionals over here in the uk, as part of our National Health Service), that Abilify SHOULD ALWAYS be taken at night before going to bed. not sure why, but i know that it does cause drowsiness for many people. Hope that helps :) | ||
