| I am a 58 year old avid runner ... 15 to 25 miles a week ... who just developed high blood pressure. Day one of 20 mg Bedicar when I ran just two miles I experience severe cramps in my upper legs. Day two I could not run at all because the medicate made me too tired. Day three I tried to run again and had extreme leg cramps. At just three miles I became weak and my face turned white as ash and cold. I had to sit on the floor of the gym unable to move. The left side of my head felt like it would burst and my left eye turned bright red. After about ten minutes I recovered enough to drive home, but still felt weak and disoriented. Benicar is not worth whatever good it is suppose to do. |

| I had this happen to me after taking Benicar/Hctz do not know if it is a side affect of not but I do know the head feeling it is going to bust can last for a while had to take motrin to calm it down but the eye remained red almost like it was going to bleed. looking for more answers regarding this. |
