| My son is 19yrs old and has just started on abilify for about 2 mos. hes now on 10 mgs. so far hes worst then ever. Hes not sleeping and is agitated, paranoided, agrumative, and verabily abusive. when does this drug start to work. Hes one step away from a residental at this stage. | |||

| I have a 19 year old non verbal autistic son. He had been on risperdal for 7 years and was fine. The doctors were concerned about diabetes. So Abilify was suggested. We have been on it for 3 weeks and it has been one terrible time. We started at 2mg then 5mg then 7.5mg thinking that he did not have enough. Now it is enough. We stopped. He had intervals of panic, screaming, jumping and crying. Never had this before. I've known people that do great on it, but we have not. I looked up the life of it and they say it stays in your body 21 days. I hope not. | ||
