To Gina, I was just prescribed Abilify (along with Lorazapam for anxiety and sleep problems) yesterday, and I am having the same problem as you. Terrible hiccups! They've been going on for the past 4 or 5 hours! I'm very frustrated. At least now I know which drug is causing them.

By the way, I was prescribed Abilify for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, not schizophrenia. Has anyone's Doc prescribed this drug to them for OCD?

my husband was recently diagnosed with ocd and was prescribed abiliby. He has been on the medicine for 3 weeks and has shown strong improvement, however he has had a difficult time staying asleep. He wakes up early in the morning and can't get back to sleep, but he doesn't really feel tired the rest of the day. The benifits way weigh out the side effects.

I was given abilify for OCD and it has helped me greatly and I seem to have no bad side effects.
