| I have been very tired feeling after taking benicar for 1 week,but the glands in my throat are swollen now for 3 days and I have a headache... I sure don't feel good about this,I will stop taking this medicine... I am on 20M and would rather try the healthy way,diet and exercise... | |||

| After using Benicar for only one day, I developed severe swelling of my throat and glands. I was told to stop. I agree with you that I will concentrate on diet and exercise. I feel a lot worse on bp medicine than I did before. | ||

| If you want to try something more natural, go to the health store and get Hawthorn. It does the same thing only is a natural form which should not have the side effects. Of course there is always going to be someone who has a problem with any treatment, even natural, but your chances of having a problem are much less with natural. Good luck! | ||

| I also am having some problems with this medication...throat has been sore and I also have shortness of breath...Strted taking 1/2 pill, then went to a whole one...20m. Just a few days ago...I did take maybe 1/2 today, but plan to stop it altogether, cause my throat felt better when I quit taking the whole pill! | ||
