I was started on Aciphex after taking Prilosec for about 2 years. The effects of the Prilosec wore off and it was no longer effective. The Aciphex works like magic, but I was unaware that it was only to be taken as a "short term" remedy. Should I question my doctor about this? Can it be harmful? I have been told that my problem stems from taking Theo-dur for asthma, this relaxes the esophagus and allows the acid reflus to rush up my esphague..very painful and distressing to me. | |||
