Nancy KatzActonal Follow upMay 12th, 2008Rating: 5.5000
I submitted my comments the first of last week and although it has not appeared here, I am convinced that my episode with one 35 mg Actonel was the reason for my inability to sit, lay down, sleep, talk or do anything but tolerate the pain of my swollen neck, tingling tounge and lips
and pressure on my layrnex causing my voice to sound like I had gravel in my throat, was a reaction to the Actonel.
Since my Doctor passed a message on to me via her Nurse to take another one to see if it happens again, I consider her response to be uncaring and unprofessional and have canceled further appointments.
I have recovered but it has been slow and only sufgaces some if I am overly tired.
I also will send this link to her attention in hopes that it will make a difference in her prescribing this to anyone else or at least paying attention to a plea for help when it goes awry.
