| I have been on Benicar 20 mg for about 2 years. I was also taking Zocor for high cholesterol. I started getting numbness/tingling in my right thigh as well as in my forearms and fingers. I went off the Zocor in May because I had read terrible side effects. I continued to get numbness and tingling which I believe is due to the Benicar. I went off the Benicar for about 6 weeks with a little improvement but my blood pressure sky rocketed. I have had high blood pressure for about 25 years. I went back on the Benicar and since then the numbness is back, night sweats, anxiety, and having trouble sleeping. I have an appointment next Monday to get off this medicine. I wish you all well in your efforts and will add comments if I can find a BP medicine with not so many side effects. |
