| I'm 23 years old, suffering from family inherited high-blood pressure. My doctor did have me on 3 Clonidine a day. My blood pressure was still high with three of these pills a day so he gave me a whole box of sample BenicarHCT to take WITH the Clonidine. I have been taking all the medicine together for about two or three weeks now and have noticed that I am having hair loss, diziness, weight loss (can't complain about that one really, considering I'm slightly overweight), bloody bowel movements, constipation, extreme fatigue, trouble sleeping, strange dreams, frequent urination, extreme thirst, and as of writing this, I am having cold/flu like symptoms, with extreme congestion/runny nose. I do not know why my doctor prescribed me four blood pressure pills as he didn't even tell me about side effects or anything like that, just sorta handed these samples to me and said take them with my other pills, but I think that I will stop the Benicar myself and stay with the other pills and try excercise and diet because this pill seems to be bad news to suspectible people. And my family has a history of Sulfa drug allergies. So this pill is a double whammy for me. Hope this helps you out. |
