| Bextra was prescribed by my doctor for bursitis. Took it for 2 weeks and noticed a small rash beginning on my legs after the lst. week. When I went back to the doctor, he gave me another 2 weeks of Bextra. In just a couple days, the rash on my legs started getting worse. My pharmicist and the doctor told me this was NOT a side effect of the medicine. During the 3rd. week the left side of my neck was covered with the same rash. I stopped the Bextra 5 days ago and just starting today the rash has become slightly bearable. I've spent the last few days with the most intense itching I've ever had in my life. Also felt as though my throat and tongue were swelling at times. Also during the last week, my feet and ankles were swollen from fluid - after getting off the Bextra and taking fluid pills, my weight has dropped over 6-8 lbs. in 2 days. Will not be taking Bextra again!!! |
