| Taking Actos since 11/02. Experiencing weight gain and shortness of breath, side effects mentioned in literature fromm the manufacturer. However, my doctor prefers that I continue wth Actos. My dietician recommends changing meds, stating that sevearl clients have mentioned these two side effects. I love the new, low readings, but not this exaggerated breathing. | |||

| There are many types of diabetic medicines, and the symptoms you are experiencing could be indications of heart problems coming or in the future. I would tend to agree that you may want to get back to your doctor for a medicine switch. Don't let the doctors push you around. They are sometimes resistant to listen to us and we have to take our health matters into our own hands. ;-) | ||
