| This is my first night having taken 1 400 mg. tablet...I went to sleep but awakened in 3 hours and now cannot get back to sleep. I am tired but I just toss and turn. Hope this side effect goes away. Must have rest. | |||

| I also took this drug and woke up excatly 3 hours later with a major panic attack that lasted for a hour. Went to the emergancy room which I live 35 miles from and the Dr. said I didn't have a reaction to the medicine but it was just a attack. Three days later at 10:00 in the morning I took the pill again and guess what 3 hours later I had the same thing happen except it was 1:30 in the afternoon and I had been given medicine for the attack if it happened again I know that this medicine trigered these attacks. I had had attacks 5 years ago but these were different.It is 7:00 now and I still feel "strange". I would not recommend this to anyone with a sensativity to medicine. I was glad to read your comments. | ||

| I have taken 4 Avelox tablets in the last 4 days for sinus infection. They seem to make me very lightheaded within an hour or so after I take it lasting for 2 to 3 hours. I've tried taking them at different times each day working around vitamins and an acid reflux medicine. It doesn't seem to matter when I take it I cannot go to sleep at night and if I do I awake in 3-4 hours and cannot go back to sleep because of a "wired" nervous feeling. It helped the sinus infection quickly but I'm afraid I'm going to have to give it up. | ||
