| When I read not to take Actonel when your calcium is low I don't understand why my doctor was not concerned.? After my blood test I visited my Doctor and she just said your calcium is low. Should I be concerned about this at all. I take other precriptions, Methotextrate? could one of thoes be my problem why I can't store calcium in my system. Would you please respond . Thank you. | |||

| I have the same problem and can't seem to get any definitive answer. For some reason I could not pull up the replies to your email about this same low blood calium and Actonel question. | ||

| Ditto on the blood-calcium question. Are you lactose intolerant now, or in the past? Do you think you might be? It is an excellent question...perhaps we should all "phone now" and ask "what our blood-calcium-test "read." When the desk says, "didn't do one," then ask...well, "how do you then know mine is ok.? For me, really think I took my last Actonel after finding this board. Think HMOs do too much "assuming" and too much "test avoidance" to save the fat-HMOs money...and don't believe they are not making money...look at the buildings they put up (yeah, and the lowly wages they pay the lowest-paid)(and, "no" I do not work for an HMO)(HMO exec.s some of the highest-paid exec.s).
