I thought that these so-called "non-sedating" anti-histamines were supposed to leave your consciousness relatively unscathed. I took a single 5mg Clarinex tablet about 8 hours ago. About three hours after taking the dose, I noticed myself having the urge to curl up in a ball and take a nap in the corner of my office. I'm not usually so inclined.

Then, while driving today, my eyelids were at half-mast and threatened to outright close at a red light. As soon as I arrived home I immediately relocated to my bed where I was greated with a phantasmagoria of far-too-lucid dreams. What is in this stuff? They should have passed these pills out at Woodstock - then everyone could take their little mind-trips and be allergy free all in one fell swoop. I mean, it did pretty much obliterate my allergies - I just wiah that my frontal lobes didn't go along for the ride. Anyhow, I wouldn't recommend Clarinex if you happen to drive front loaders or F-15's for a living, or even a compact car for extended periods of time.

If you've never dropped Clarinex before, you may want to do it in the safe confines of your home the first time around and clear your social calendar for the next day or two.
