| I have been taking samples of Fosamax for three months, and after having some digestive problems, my doctor has given me Actonel to try. I was going to start taking this drug tomorrow morning, but after reading your comments (which I wholeheartedly agree with), I am not going to take this medication. I am doing a lot of walking, lift weights, use the swiss ball and also do pilates and take calcium supplements. I"ll take my chances!!! |

| DO i ever agree with this comment. I come from a family of very tall and thin women. All lived into their late 90's - no bone issues - without drugs. My mother is 89 and is fantastic health. I agree, this disease has probably been so talked about to support selling these terrible drugs. Know several women who have massive health issues taking these bone drugs - come on women of America, wake up! My doctor wanted me to take it - NO WAY |
