About Amphadase
Amphadase is an enzyme that is used:
- with certain other injected medicines to help them pass into the body faster
- to inject under the skin in a process to replace lost fluids in the body when a person is unable to eat or drink

to help remove contrast dye from the body when given under the skin for a procedure called urography
Side Effects of Amphadase
Some common side effects with Amphadase include:
- injection site reactions (such as pain at the injection site)
- swelling
- itching
