when can it be used?

My grandma was recently diagnosed with mouth cancer and even though she had the operation to remove it the doctor wanted her to have radiation. Since starting the radiation treatment she has developed white sores all over her mouth ( cheeks, lips, and worst on the tongue). I was wondering if Kepivance can be used on her to get rid of these as its not a blood cancer and it is thought that it may cause growth of tumors if used on non- blood cancers. She hasnt got cancer anymore. the radiation is just to make sure shes completely clean. Please can any of you tell me if she can get this treatment done?!!
