Default Lamictal and Concerta

I am submitting a question and not a comment. Surely this is not the right forum, nevertheless I have stated some background information and the question.
I have been diagnosed with a mood imbalance and then doctor has prescribed Lamictal, but I have been diagnosed ADDHD 13 years ago. I am now 37 years old, but I have been off of Concerta for past 4 years. I have realized that I need to get back on Concerta to me with my ADDHD, but my European psychiatrist wants me to take Lamictal and not Concerta for now. They are not familiar or not up-to-date with ADHD and the various forms of medication for this disorder. My question is this - Can Concerta to help me with my mood imbalance? I would like to take only form of medication to help me situate my challenges.

Thank you
