Default Taking mylotarg

My friend is in 60s and is where they cannot give anymore of the
common chemo, and wants him to get this, he fears that it can
cause more damage to his uncancerous cellls. I tried to say that
this stuff only homes in on cancer cells and attaches to this.
He wonders why all the side affects, my response to this is that
anytime they lower your immune system to take out poisons and this
is a toxin then your going to experience these side affects, plus
getting the bad effects of the med out too. I see stats here that
tell how bad it worked..but these were both not positive...are there
any people that survived this and how long....please reply.
