Default liver failure

After my younger brother's treatment with Mylotarg, he experienced extreme joint paint and liver failure within a few days. He died a day after liver failure. We did have a glimmer of hope for a couple of days which I am grateful for. I wish he could have had it before a last option.<br>Maybe he would be alive today. He was suffering from AML.

My dad is 66 years old and they are considering giving him this drug as a treatment for AML. He has went through 2 chemothearpy treatments last year in September, and again in November. Did your brother go through this treatment and how old was your brother? Also where did you take your brother for this treatment? It isn't available in our area (Montana) and we have been checking with the Mayo Clinic and the University in Washington state. That is in the Seattle area.
