Default Avelox - 1 pill and never again

I was given Avelox for bronchitis, I took the first pill at 12:52pm, within 30 minutes I started to feel anxious, as the day continued I was in full blown anxiety mode. I called my doctor and asked it I could take Xanax for the anxiety and she stated I could. Needless to say, if it wasn't for the xanax relief for the intense anxiety I was feeling, I to would have ended up in the ER. I have never experienced anxiety from an antibiotic before, Avelox is now on my list for never taking again...... My doctor now put me on the Z-Pack which I know I have no reaction to...... My experience from Avelox was not a good one...........
