Default protonix and high blood sugar

I have been taking Protonix (40mg)since April of this year when I went into the hospital with a heart attack, bleeding ulcers and acute renal failure. The Protonix has been taking care of my ulcers just fine but my blood sugar has sky rocketed. I have been diabetic for 31 years and my sugar has been in control. It now runs 100-150 points above normal. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Default Protonix - Glucose

I am not a diabetic but have been taking Protonix for the past few days for an ulcer and have noticed a marked increase in my blood sugar levels, ranging as high as 250. Did you stop taking the medication? How did you resolve this dilemma?

Default Protonix/blood sugar

Yes! Protonix has caused me to have elevated blood sugar. So far, my doctor doesn't believe me. I am not sure what to do.

Default blood glucose

I've been taking 40 mg of Protonix for a week and noticed high blood sugar readings. My diabetes has been under control for quite a while now with diet and exercise. I'm going to quit taking it and find something else. I have the headaches and not sleeping, too. I don't like these scary readings even though it helped the acid reflux.
