i was just prescribed provigil for fatigue. i've read many of the comments about the side effects and was wondering is the benefit of provigil really worth all the other side effects? and i've heard some people say it can cause weight loss, is this true?

Default provigil

I have nothing but good things to say about provigil. I've been taking it (400mg/day) for over a year and have experienced no negative side-effects.<br>Drugs work differently for each of us, you know, but I think it's worth a try. Incidentally, I was not prescribed provigil for excessive sleepiness or any sleep disorder. Instead, it works as an adjunct to my anti depressant. And at the risk of exaggerating, I'm willing to say that it did nothing less that save my life. One other thing: I don't find it difficult to maintain my normal sleep patterns...I think it's because provigil doesn't act on metabolism. For the same reason, I've experienced no weight loss or appetite loss...I could only hope for such a blessing!
