I have a type 3 lung tumor (wet) which is terminal. I have been taking Targretin as part of a clinical trial for 8 months. My tumor was first discovered a year before my trial started. My last visit with my Oncologist indicated no change in my tumor or the associated fluid. When the doctor asked me how I felt, I told him I didn't feel like somebody who was fixing to croak. His response was that I wasn't dying. The same man told me in the past that I probably had a year an a half to live when I started the program.
