Default 8 days of Yasmin

My daughter was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and prescribed <br>Yasmin which her doctor stated it was like it was developed for women with pcos. My daugher is 19 years old and just 8 days after starting Yasmin she developed a pulmonary embolism , she was hospitalized and now on blood thinner for 6 months. This has been a very scarey experience and I encourage anyone considering oral conceptive pills to please take this all into consideration with your doctor.
