Default mrsa staph infection

I would like to know if Zyvox is used for the MRSA staph infection? Would it combat the infection better than vancomycin?

Default Zyvox

after having MRSA abscesses twice in one year, and after becoming allergic to vancomyacin and daptomyacin, zyvox was the only med left and it did work. But I was also put on it through IV in addition to IV rifampin. I have to say that zyvox worked wonders for me, and for some mysterious reason it also took away all of my joint pains. It's a harsh medicine. It kills virtually everything in your body and one has to be very careful when on zyvox, but it worked for me!

yes zyvox is used to treat staph bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus. However I am not sure whether it is more effective than vancomycin as from what I heard vancomycin is the preferred method of treating staph infections.
