Default Trileptal & Bone density loss?

I am 25 yr. old female. I have been using trileptal for about a year to treat neuropathic pain (started after a car accident). Trileptal has been able to take the edge of the pain with minimal day-to-day side effects (unlike my experience with Neurontin). Recently, I hit my elbow pretty hard and went to the ER to get x-rays. The x-rays were fine but my doctor recommended that I get a bone density loss examination. Turns out I have had bone density loss and have early signs of osteoperosis. Can Trileptal help instigate bone density loss? Thanks for your replies!

Default Trileptal and osteoporosis

Yes, Trileptal can cause bone thinning! I found this out the hard way when my fibiula broke while using an elliptical machine!
