Default avelox & chest pain

I was given this medication for a strep throat infection. Definitely need to take with food--without food it seems to gnaw on your stomach. Also I am having chest pain and chest tightness. I got online because the chest pain worried me. I think I am not going to take this medicine anymore--the chest pain scares me and I have now had it for several hours. I am on day 4 of a 7 day perscription. Calling my doctor tomorrow for suggestions.
