I have withdrawal so bad that I cannot quit this medication. I tried to quit once and did not take any Celexa for one month. For that entire month I could hardly rise out of bed because the nausea, dizziness, etc were so bad. I would NEVER reccomend this to anyone. I cannot go a single day without a pill now and not feel side effects. Please think carefully before you go on anti-depressants, I may be on mine for the rest of my life.

Default question

Hi,
I was wondering if you ever quit Celexa for good and if so, how long did the withdrawal last. I went off of the drug a couple of times and had the same symptoms you mentioned. They were so intense that I ended up getting a refill on Celexa within a week because I couldn't take it any longer. I hope to be off the drug someday but the thought of it scares me since I couldn't function with those awful symptoms.

Take care.
