Default 'Cold like symptoms'

Vioxx has been wondeful for relief from the arthritis in my ankle. I sure regret it when I stop taking my Vioxx!

I almost continuously have a cold. Sneezing, coughing, itchy eyes, burning sinuses. What is strange is that this cold doesn't seem to be 'passed' onto others in my family and rarely goes away.

Unfortunately I've finally come to the conclusion that this must be the "respiratory tract infection" side-effect mentioned. I've seen other sites call the side-effect 'cold-like symptoms'.

Anyone else experience these symptoms? Does anything help to reduce the cold-symptoms while taking Vioxx?
