Thank you everyone for your insights about being on and off Celexa. I have been on it for about 2 years. As a single mother of a learning disabled teenager, Celexa has helped me stay on an even keel and deal with life's suprises. It's kept me able to focus at work. However, it makes me sleepier (1-2 weekends of the month I spend mostly sleeping) and I gained weight. I have started dieting, losing 17 pounds with an least another 25 to go. My doctor has told me I will be on Celexa (20)long term. After hearing of the dizzy spells, I am afraid to go off it.
