Our family member has been successfully treated with Tikosyn for two years, but following an attack of fibrillation last evening he tells us that Tikosyn is available only through Canada and he can no longer get it. Is this true? Why is this?

This is NOT true. I'ma tikosyn patient and just got home with a new refill. Tikosyn works well on my ventricular arrhythmia. No noticeable side effects.
