Frova is the first drug that has completely taken away my migraine pain without the side effects of other drugs I have used such as Maxalt & butalbital. The only problem is that the directions say that you aren't supposed to take it more than 4 times a month. I sometimes have migraines lasting for several days during my menstrual cyle. I am reading about studies where Frova was used as a preventive for several days. Is there any documented study that lists serious side effects if you take it for more than 4 days a month?
