<br> Axert works in about 30 minutes for most migraines. I get the most relief from this medication, espically if I can rest for 20 min upon taking the medication. However, under extreme conditions the migraine returns every 24 hours. It takes 3-5 days before the headache subsides. No bleeding. Dry-mouth often. Felt tightness in chest only once.
