Default Maxalt-dangerous

I have suffered from Migraines for over 20 years and for 15 of those years I have used Maxalt 10 mg. I usually took about 10 per month.
Two weeks ago I had a really bad migraine and I took a Maxalt. I woke up in the morning with vision loss in my right eye. My doctor said he is suspicious of the Maxalt causing a drastic drop in blood pressure causing the optic nerve to be starved of oxygen. I wish I had known these risks before. If you do take Maxalt, make sure your blood pressure doesn't drastically drop taking this. I learned to late and now am partially blind in one eye. I have no history of heart disease, artery disease or heart problems.

All I ask is that you make sure your blood pressure stays stabile while taking this.
